1. About UniPints

UniPints helps people discover pubs, compare recorded drink prices, and find deals and events. These terms cover use of our website and the basic use of our venue dashboard. Any paid partnership, advertising or subscription is also subject to the separate agreement provided when it is purchased. These terms do not themselves create a paid subscription.

Please read these terms before using UniPints. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal information and browser storage; accepting these terms does not constitute consent to optional analytics.

2. Age and responsible use

UniPints is intended for people aged 18 and over. Please do not use it if you are under 18. Venues remain responsible for their own admission, age verification and alcohol service decisions. A listing or offer does not guarantee entry or service.

Please drink responsibly. Price comparisons and promotions are information, not encouragement to drink excessively.

3. Prices, deals and events

We take reasonable care when publishing information, but prices, opening hours, availability, event details and offer conditions can change. A verification date shows when information was checked, not a guarantee that it remains current. Confirm important details directly with the venue before travelling, booking or buying.

Prices and rankings cover the venues and qualifying records in our dataset, rather than every venue in a city. Standard pint rankings exclude promotional prices and may differ from deal listings. A ranking is a price comparison, not a recommendation about a venue's quality or safety.

Deals may be limited by dates, times, stock, eligible products, minimum purchases, booking requirements or other venue conditions. Student offers may require a valid Student ID and any further eligibility requirements stated in the listing. The venue decides whether you qualify under its offer terms.

Where content is marked as demonstration or example data, it is illustrative and should not be relied on for a real visit or purchase.

4. Venues, bookings and external services

UniPints provides information; it does not sell or serve drinks, operate the listed venues, or organise third-party events. Unless expressly stated otherwise, any purchase, reservation, ticket or redemption is arranged directly with the venue or external provider under its own terms.

Questions about admission, cancellations, refunds or purchases should be directed to that provider. You can contact us about inaccurate listings. Links to maps, booking services, apps and venue websites lead to services with their own terms and privacy practices.

5. Commercial placements

Some venues may pay for promotional placement or additional services. Paid placements should be identified where displayed. Payment for placement does not change the calculations used for standard price rankings. Inclusion on UniPints is not a guarantee of a venue or offer.

6. Reports and uploaded content

Please submit information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and only upload material you are entitled to share. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringing content, passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information. Crop identifying information from receipt and menu photos where possible.

You retain ownership of your submissions. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, review and use them to operate UniPints, investigate reports and correct listings. This includes publishing submitted venue information and venue images intended for public display. Evidence photos provided with a price report are for review, not public display under this permission.

We may edit, decline or remove submissions where reasonably necessary for accuracy, safety, legal obligations or these terms. A submitted correction does not automatically change a published price.

7. Partner and staff accounts

Only authorised users may access a venue or staff account. Keep your credentials secure, use access only for the venues and functions you are authorised to manage, and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse. Do not share access with someone who is not authorised.

If you manage a venue listing, you must have authority to act for that venue and take reasonable care to keep its content and offer conditions accurate. Changes may require review before publication. You must have the necessary rights to any images you upload.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address unauthorised access, serious or repeated misuse, security threats or legal requirements. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond. Paid-service rights and remedies are governed by the relevant agreement and applicable law.

8. Acceptable use and intellectual property

Do not interfere with the service, introduce malware, evade access controls, impersonate others, submit fraudulent reports or use automated requests in a way that disrupts the site or bypasses restrictions.

UniPints branding, original website content and software belong to us or our licensors. Venue names, trademarks and other third-party material belong to their respective owners. You may browse and share links for lawful purposes. These terms do not restrict uses permitted by law.

9. Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep UniPints available, but maintenance, faults and third-party outages can interrupt access. We may change features as the service develops, subject to any separate contractual commitments.

If we breach these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by a venue or external provider, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. Nothing here removes responsibility for our own conduct where the law makes us responsible.

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Changes, complaints and applicable law

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. We will publish the updated version and effective date here and, where appropriate, give account holders reasonable notice of material changes. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not remove mandatory protections available under the law of your place of residence. Courts in England and Wales may hear disputes, and consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of their home jurisdiction where applicable law permits.
